The History of Electricity and Establishment of Azarbaijan Regional Electricity Company

It was early ۱۹th that Edison the great man of world electricity industry invented the lamp and in less than two decades darkness disappeared from big cities of America and Europe. Thus, empire of electricity industry started to illuminate everywhere and was transmitted to other continentals and amazing improvements occurred one after another.

Iran coordinated itself with this progress and some lamps were lightened in Tehran Golestan Palace about ۱۰ years after Edison's lamp was turned on in New York. Soon after Emam Reza's holy shrine was enlightened, then Tehran the capital city and Tabriz (comfort zone of Princes) experienced electricity. No longer after that the other big and small cities of Iran could utilize electricity. Now all urban and ۹۹.۵% of rural population have this blessing.
