Electricity Industry after Revolution in Iran

Electricity industry after revolution in Iran in ۱۳۵۷ has been developed in the way of underpinning an important industry. At present this industry has allocated ۱۹th place from the outlook of capacity of installed power plants among global families. Overall it can be said that development electricity industry had begun since the beginning of early ۱۴th solar century and had been realized a little in ۱۳۴۷ to ۱۳۵۷ and mostly after the revolution throughout this period of time developing of different sections of electricity industry (generation, transmission, distribution) has been from ۷ to ۱۵ in a way capacity of installed power plants has been reached from ۶۳ MW in ۱۳۵۷ to more than ۷۰۴ MW which means ۹ times, number of subscribers from ۳ millions and ۳۹۹ thousands to almost ۵ millions and ۵۰۰ thousands subscribers which means more than ۶ times and number of villages with electricity in Iran from ۴۳۷ villages in ۱۳۵۷ to more than ۵۳ thousands villages which means almost ۱۳ times at present .
